This year, our Turning Leaves Fall coffee is from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. FInca Chejoj sits on a perch, overlooking the San Pedro Nectra valley. Alejandro Lainez acquired this farm from his father in 1980. Cherries are picked ripe, washed and immersed for 18 hours before being dried on patios for six to seven days. This region’s coffees are known for their depth of flavor…caramelly and sweet, with high aromatics. With balanced, classic notes of milk chocolate and toffee, red apple and jammy plum, we found a perfect fit for this year’s Turning Leaves!
