We are Matt and Jill McLaughlin, born and raised in the Starved Rock area, married, and raising five children in the same community that shaped us. We grew up with Starved Rock State Park as our neighbor, the canyons and trails each telling their own story, awakening feelings of adventure, wonder, and anticipation. We hope you feel all of that in every cup. Starved Rock Coffee Company launched in the fall of 2017 with one goal: to bring the specialty coffee experience to our community and to every customer who finds us. We were trained by specialty coffee legend Victor Mondry in Madison, Wisconsin, and we have never stopped learning since.
